About Algomim

Algomim is an agentic platform built to make artificial intelligence a real working partner in architectural design. Our goal is not just to generate visuals, but to build agents that research, analyze, edit, and produce implementable outputs inside the tools architects already use.

Our story

In 2018, Kaan Bingöl began researching whether AI could read architectural drawings during his master’s thesis. He spent two years training convolutional neural networks to understand architectural plans.

In 2020, this work left academia and became a startup. With TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1512 funding, Kaan founded Algomim. He then fed the technology not just from behind a screen but from the field: conducting site inspections, checking projects against regulations, and generating new designs. He went through the Albaraka Garaj and METU Growth Circuit accelerator programs, maturing both the product and the business model.

In 2023, this expertise turned into the first tangible product: a solution that generated interior designs with genetic algorithms. Today, Algomim continues to grow as a fully agentic platform that brings large language models to architectural design and works alongside designers at every stage of the process.
